Trays/Traytables

At Alex&Elle we cooperate with the TheTrayShop, a Sydney based Swedish company designing trays and tray tables handmade in Sweden from many of the same designs that we offer in our collection.

The design for a tray is cut to shape by hand at a small workshop in Sweden’s north, near the Arctic Circle. At the tray workshop in the south of Sweden, thin layers of wood are pressed together with the pattern before a melamine coating is applied to make the trays durable and food safe.
